Us in a nutshell...

Justin and I met at Ouachita Baptist University at a Halloween party. He was dressed as a doctor (go figure) and I was dressed as a cowgirl. We then started dating two days after we met!! We dated for 2 years and then got engaged on November 4, 2005. We had our DREAM wedding (ok my dream wedding - but Justin had fun) on July 22, 2006.

We then worked in Little Rock, Arkansas until we moved to Dominica on January 4, 2008 to go to Med School. How did we end up in Dominica?? Well let me tell you.....

Our friend Mike went to Ross (where we are) and is now doing his rotations in New York City. He is how we first heard about Ross. We (well - Justin) had applied to a couple of med schools in the states but God kept saying No to those schools. Then about September 2007 we applied to Ross. We prayed for God's will to be done. We asked God to make it very clear if we were or were not supposed to go. We prayed very specifically that if He were to say no then He was closing the door for Med School. That short time in our lives grew our relationship closer to God and to each other. Then in November - God said YES!!! So we packed up all our summer clothes and our dogs and moved to the Caribbean!!

We are currently in our second year of Medical School and will be out of Dominica around the end of April. Then its off to either Miami or Michigan for our 5th semester and then we start rotations. Where will rotations be?? We have no idea!!! And we wont know until the end of our 5th semester.
