Above is a very short video of worship time at Ross Christian Fellowship. Sorry Its not a very good video but I wanted to try and give you somewhat of an idea of our “church” here. We have actually just recently moved to the above location. It used to be in a wider room that was somewhat of a classroom setting. There are two worship times, one at 11:00 a.m. and another at 5:00 p.m. The first time we went we went to the evening service. I immediately called my Granny when I got home and said “Granny – you would love church here – its just like yours!!” Because during the evening service we sang out of the Baptist Hymnal with one keyboard. Not that there is anything wrong with that – we just enjoy more of a contemporary worship. We didn’t know that there was a difference between the two services the first Sunday we went!! So the next Sunday we went to the morning service. It is student led and more of a “contemporary” type worship. As you can see from the video – there are three guitarists that play and a “worship team” that stands with them. No one has a mic so Im somewhat confused as to the point of the worship team – you can’t hear them so its not as if they are “leading” worship. We still haven’t met any Christian couples yet really. I mean – we have MET them but this place is like anywhere else – everyone has already formed their friends that they hang out with. I am glad that we at least have SOMEWHERE to go though and the students that lead do the best that they can with what they have to work with. But truthfully – we miss the fellowship we had at our church and our friends from our community group.
On another note – Justins hives are back. We cannot figure out what is causing him to break out like this!! Yesterday it was looking like he was getting better and then this morning they reappeared!!! I don’t know if you can really tell by the pictures below but this is what they look like. His hands are also swelling up and itching. Please continue to pray for healing. This is quite possibly the worst time for this to happen. He has his huge test in 8 days.
