Bathtime! 04/01/2010
Rebekah has been the most PERFECT baby!!!! Justin and I are learning so much with lots of trial and error and she does a great job putting up with it. So far she is doing pretty well with a schedule. She eats about every 2.5 – 3 hours and then goes to bed around 11:00 – 12:00 and then sleeps till 7:00 A.M..!!!!!!!! Yes – we know how BLESSED we are! We are branching out more with our “outings” also. We have been to lunch a few times and to TARGET! She slept through all of it.
One "milestone" that we have hit is bathtime! The first time was a couple days after we got home and she kinda slept through it. I think she was kind of weirded out by it at first but seems to really like it. So far it takes two people to give her a bath but her umbilical cord just fell off so hopefully it will be a lot easier now and I can do it on my own. The pictures below are her during and after her first bath.
One thing we started doing just last night is “hosing her off” after she poops. She seems to save all her nasty poops for the evening, just about right after Justin gets home. So last night after she had a nasty diaper we just put her in the sink and sprayed her with the sprayer. She loved it and it was great for us – a lot easier than rubbing her poor butt raw to get all the poop off and something I wish I wouldve thought of earlier!
